Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how Skillsmint Educational Services reviews refund requests for paid certificate transactions and related digital services. Because certificates are digital products, refund eligibility depends on the payment status, delivery status, and reason for the request.

2. Eligible refund cases

We may approve a refund when our review confirms one of the following:

  • You were charged more than once for the same certificate request.
  • Your payment was debited but the transaction failed and no certificate was issued.
  • A technical issue on our side prevented certificate delivery after a successful payment.
  • The displayed payment amount was charged incorrectly.
  • We are unable to provide access to a purchased certificate after reasonable support checks.

3. Non-refundable cases

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Completed and delivered certificates where no technical or billing error occurred.
  • Requests based only on quiz score dissatisfaction, assessment outcome, or change of mind after delivery.
  • Incorrect learner details submitted by the user after the certificate has already been generated, unless we can correct the certificate without reissue costs.
  • Misuse, policy violations, fraudulent activity, or attempts to bypass assessment or payment rules.

4. Request window

Please contact us within 7 days of the transaction date. Requests received after this period may still be reviewed, but approval is not guaranteed unless required by applicable law or payment provider rules.

5. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with your name, registered email or phone number, course name, payment date, transaction ID if available, and a short description of the issue. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, OTPs, or other sensitive payment credentials.

6. Processing time

Approved refunds are usually initiated to the original payment method. Bank, card, wallet, UPI, or gateway processing times may vary, and the refunded amount may take 5 to 10 business days or longer to appear depending on the provider.

7. Payment gateway issues

If a payment provider marks a transaction as pending, failed, disputed, or under review, we may need to wait for the provider's final status before issuing a certificate or refund. We will use available transaction records to help resolve the matter.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
